Stair Accident Lawyer Jackson, MS: Injuries are sometimes caused by conditions in public places, or owned by private companies. While traveling recently I came upon a dangerous staircase at a hotel. The concrete of the top stair of this staircase was deteriorated and I tripped as I left the building, dangerous staircase at hotel.
Sometimes in situations like this I have found that sending a letter to the establishment outlining the dangerous condition is helpful. Showing that the manager or business has notice of a dangerous condition or constructive notice due to the length of time the condition has been there will be helpful in proving negligence on the part of the business. A writing like the one below will make those with management authority to fix the issue aware that an issue exists and needs attention.

To Whom it May Concern,
I stayed at your hotel in the last 10 days and had some concerns about the staircase closest to room 201 on the second floor. This set of stairs has missing concrete and has exposed undergirders. I tripped on the top step of this flight as I was leaving through this exit because the surface dips a few inches due to the cracked concrete stairs. I have attached a photograph I took of the condition in the concrete.
In making you aware of this dangerous staircase, I am hoping that you will repair this condition quickly so that no one else trips on the stairs and injures themselves. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and I am sure you will call someone immediately to deal with this issue.
I do not know what the result of the above letter will be, but I hope that this condition in this staircase will be repaired before someone else falls and hurts themselves. If the letter is not heeded, then this letter may later serve as evidence to show that notice was given of the danger, but the management did nothing about it.
